Support Group for ADHD in Charlotte

Friday, September 18, 2009 by Nadya Klinetob

If you are a parent whose child has ADHD, if you have ADHD/ADD yourself, or BOTH, this can be a daily challenge. You are not alone. Support Groups have been shown to be very important for providing information and connecting individuals with similar concerns. Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) is a support group for anyone effected by ADHD/ADD. Good news! There is a local chapter called the Mecklenburg County CHADD. Check out their website:

Your are definitely NOT ALONE!

My husband has ADHD and I am looking for a support group to help me to understand his condition more and deal with it as well. I live in Stanfield, NC but it is close to Charlotte and Albemarle, NC. Any suggestions?

I would recommend contacting the Mecklenburg County Chapter of CHADD, 704-551-9120. I hope this helps.
