We frequently receive positive comments and success stories from parents.
But, don't just take our word for it ...
"I just wanted to take a few moments to let you know how thankful I am that we found Child and Family Development and more importantly Courtney Stanley, OTR/L. My daughter was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder among some other delays and issues. We began working with Courtney a few months ago after switching from a different OT center and the difference is amazing.
Courtney takes her time to explain things to me and gives us great tools for home. She also has brought things to my attention that I had seen in my daughter but did not realize that OT could help with these issues and that’s the difference with Courtney. She really gets my daughter and sees what’s going on. It is so rare to find someone that actually makes you believe whole heartedly that they really care and are going above and beyond for your child’s care. Courtney does just that. We would be lost without her!"

"Ms. Elizabeth was absolutely outstanding. She was such a great speech therapist, always providing us with tools & tips to help us support our son. Her knowledge about speech and stuttering was superior and helped us immensely as we - as parents - also worked very hard to support our little guys development. We will recommend Child and Family Development, and most specifically Elizabeth Fagg, to anyone who is looking for speech therapy for their child!"
Message from a parent after having completed a Psychological and Educational Assessment:
"Mo Froneberger is a true gift to our son and to our family. Thanks."
Many times we are asked in general conversation, "What do you do?". The answers we give are typically "I am a banker" or "I am a nurse". Well, that is not answering the question about what you do, it is stating who you are and your title.
As the President of Child and Family Development in Charlotte, I am often asked what I do. The short answer could be my title - as in "I am the President of Child and Family Development". But behind the title and behind the skill of running a business, is the gift of watching children learn, grow, succeed and achieve.
My job is simple, it is a gift. Whether it be through a Psychological Assessment or Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy we are constantly unwrapping the talents and skills of children. Each day I see the gift that lies within each child.
Each time that I open the mail from our clients and read the amazing insights into how the work that we do has changed and improved the lives of children and their families, it is yet another gift.
From ADHD or Autism to disabilties or delays, the assessement and therapy provided to children every moment of the day is amazing.
I look forward to sharing my gift with all of you in future blogs about stories and insights from clients at Child and Family Development. For a look into the work that we do, please visit
